Leonardo's Italian Cafe in Battle Ground, Washington (98604) has the setting you might find in your local cinder block quickie mart. Their building is dumpy and dirty, be sure not to catch anything. When calling for a dinner reservation for 15 people, Michael (I belive) so rudely hung up on us while talking to him. Just ask yourself why would I go to a restaurant to fork over my hard earned money to an establishment that would train it's employees to hang up the phone on someone wanting to come enjoy a nice dinner at their place. Before he hung up on us, he demanded we tell him what exactly we wanted to eat for dinner because "If that many people came in and wanted one particular item, it would shut down the kitchen". What is so hard about some noodles and pasta sauce that you can't just make more.
Their pasta sauce is what you might find if you opened a can of Ragu and mixed it with Italian seasoning. Last week my wife and I visited this place during the week and that was a BIG mistake because their food tasted like it was sitting around since the weekend. The Meatballs were not done in the center and looked like a candidate for e. Coli poisoning to me.
The bottom line is if you want bad food, bad service and bad atmosphere then please visit Leonardo's Italian Cafe.
