Leonardo's Italian Cafe Review

Leonardo's Italian Cafe in Battle Ground, Washington (98604) has the setting you might find in your local cinder block quickie mart. Their building is dumpy and dirty, be sure not to catch anything. When calling for a dinner reservation for 15 people, Michael (I belive) so rudely hung up on us while talking to him. Just ask yourself why would I go to a restaurant to fork over my hard earned money to an establishment that would train it's employees to hang up the phone on someone wanting to come enjoy a nice dinner at their place. Before he hung up on us, he demanded we tell him what exactly we wanted to eat for dinner because "If that many people came in and wanted one particular item, it would shut down the kitchen". What is so hard about some noodles and pasta sauce that you can't just make more.

Their pasta sauce is what you might find if you opened a can of Ragu and mixed it with Italian seasoning. Last week my wife and I visited this place during the week and that was a BIG mistake because their food tasted like it was sitting around since the weekend. The Meatballs were not done in the center and looked like a candidate for e. Coli poisoning to me.

The bottom line is if you want bad food, bad service and bad atmosphere then please visit Leonardo's Italian Cafe. If you are looking for a great place to eat in Battle Ground Washington, you will want to try Irby's Fine Dining located at 801 W Main St, Battle Ground, WA (360) 666-4877. Irby's food is fantastic and service is to die for, just try Irby's and you won't be sorry.

You've got to be kidding! If what you portrayed is even true it's the only time I have EVER heard that about Leonardo's. We have never had a bad experience there in 7 years.

I just tried to make a reservation for twenty and was turned away. Nice business practice. I don't think the economy must be that bad for them @ Leonardo's.

We have been to Leonardos many times, and the food is always excellent. I don't think your experience is at all typical.

the resturant is very small, large groups can not be seated, so asking for a table for 15 or 20 will not get you the response you are looking for. It is a mom and pop type place, and the food is very good everytime I go in.

Their food is the best around for Italian in the greater Vancouver area. We go once a week and the food is always great.
